Math-A-Thon: Flat Donation

Please use this button to pay for pledges for a flat donation amount.  Please be sure to include: the name of the student that you are sponsoring, their grade level, and their room number or teacher name.

The Sedgwick Math-A-Thon begins the week of May 29, 2026!

The Math-A-Thon countdown has begun! In addition to fun math challenges, there will be prizes that can be earned:

• Participation Prizes: any class with at least 80% pledge participation will get a popsicle day! 

• Fundraising Prizes: One lower grade (TK-2nd) and one upper grade (3rd-5th) with the most donations will get ice cream & add’l recess time!

Class prizes will be based on the pledges collected by May 29, 2026.

Here is how students join in:

• Set A Goal: For example, your goal could be to complete at least half of the math problems and pledges of $50. 

• Ask for Support: Remember to only ask people you and your family know.

• Collect Pledges: Donors can pledge either a flat dollar amount or amount per correct problem. Ask donors if their company does corporate donation matching.

• Return the Pledge Sheet with donations to your teacher by Friday, May 29.
  

All donations will support Sedgwick’s Library and STEAM programs

Please contribute any amount to help reach the target goal of $10,000 from this year’s Math-A-Thon.

The goal is to have each class try to raise $750 all together.
